What is the HyperNet Relay and how does it work?
The Hypernet Realy is a new trade mechanic from CCP. They are effectively a raffle. Any single iteam can be placed as a HyperNet Offer by using a new item called Hypercores. This Offer has "nodes" availbe for purchase for isk. Once all nodes have been sold, one of them will be chosen at random as the "winner", this character will then recieve the item.

Why are items values often higher in a Hypernet offer?
The number of Nodes on a HyperNet Offer can vary, but the total price for all nodes should not exceed 115% of the items sell value. (because of the price of the hypercores and fees it is inevitable that the price will be slightly higher.) for example: an item with a Jita sell price of exactly 1,000,000,000 will have roughly just under 100,000,000 worth of fees attatched to it as a HyperNet Offer, this means they will usually be sold for a 5-15% markup to cover costs.

I want to continue to play after winning but am not in Jita! what do i do?
Any winning HyperNet Offer from a HRTC member can be immediatly contracted back to the selling character for Jita buy price! So you can continue taking part in the fun! (if you are unsure of the jita buy price just message the member concerned)
