 The 1st Praetorian Guard is a military unit attached to the Amarr Navy.  In this role the 1st Praetorian Guard is not usually employed for the 'housekeeping' tasks of the various house navies; it's tasks may include mundane border patrols but are normally rather including missions like incursions into enemy territory, retrieval of imperial property and citizens, reconnaisance and surgical deepstrikes.
