In the year 2357, the Terrain Forces launched Operation Nebula Blaze. This operation, led by Vice Admiral Nicholas Vierra, sent a fleet of ships behind enemy lines against a series of key targets in an attempt to throw the enemy forces into disarray, and to buy the Terrains more time to shore up their defences against the constant Solairiain advance. This was the first and only known offensive that the terrains were able to make during their war against the solairians, however, It is not known whether or not the Operation was a success, or a failure. The only thing we do know is that the entire 17th independent fleet, the fleet that ran Operation Nebula Blaze, was completely wiped out. The only known survivors are Ship Captain Dutch Motsu and Vice Admiral Nicholas Vierra, who were found in Cryogenic suspension by a deep space Caldari Patrol in YC 110 and taken to the medical center in Amsen where Capsuleer clones were created to save their lives. Now, One year after their release from the medical center, Nicholas Vierra has re-launched the name as his corporation as a tribute to all the men and women who died under his command during what was expected to be a suicidal campaign. The fate of the terrains, The solairiains, and the success of Operation Nebula Blaze remain a mystery, one that taunts the survivors, who are wondering if their sacrifices were worth it or not.
