Anoikis Excavations & Research started as a project initiated by the CONCORD Assembly in order to explore the mysterious wormholes as well as the Anoikis - Region. Soon the interest in lawless space, only connected through wormholes, spiked with the appearence of Drifters, even in high-security systems.
It was in YC 118, when Selene Amaterasu joined the project, and Prosper invested large sums - as [A-ER] finally evolved into an independet corporation. With the know-how gathered in previous years the young corp began expeditions in even more dangerous systems known as "shattered systems", created after some cataclysmic event of unparalleld proportions.

Today the corporation works with others, like the Arataka Research Consortium and Signal Cartel to push the limits of our collective knowledge, but it also strives to meet the dangers arising from Anoikis and make use of its ressources in order to fund further operations in shattered wormhole space.
After joining the Dark - Alliance, and establishing an industrial backbone withing the Caldari State, Anoikis Excavations & Research has now grown into a force to be reckoned with.
