Long ago the Skadi Imperium was a small, but proud fleet milling about the universe. Named for an ancient goddess of mountians and snow, they were a quasi-nomadic tribe, in service to some unknown matriarch or diety. Although they had not been heard from in some time, sightings of their ships have been reported in recent times. Had they been lost in a wormhole? Were they driven to near extinction in some nameless system beyond Empire space? More importantly, what are their intentions?
