u'With a two week Wermacht pass burning a hole in their pockets the boys of the Bavarian Motorcycle touring club headed south making for the Swiss border and the 1939 Rod & Bike show.

Crossing into the rural province of Baden-Werttenburg, the boys became increasingly aware that they were now in \u2018Elvis country\u2019. Deciding that it would be better to push on for the Swiss border they got as far as the Rhine and the small town of Bad Saeckingen before pulling over for a break.

Entering a small coffee shop they sat down at a table, all eyes in the coffee shop following their every move. Behind them sat a handful of red neck locals who eyed the strangers with deep suspicion. A group of young girls sitting at the bar giggled nervously, unintentionally adding to the tension. One of the inbred\u2019s looking towards the window and the bikes parked outside, commented to the others \u2018 They got some fancy bikes, check that Yankee flag on the tank (pause) .... I like it !\u2018

A fellow dimwit quickly added :

\u2018 Nice haircuts too ... very tidy.\u2019

The boys from the Bavarian motorcycle touring club sat listening to this red neck banter.

\u2018 Those are what is known as country witticisms \u2018 said George. The Captain looked at the others \u2018 Let\u2019s split ...\u2019. Seeing the strangers get up to leave, the Locals quickly got up and offered to pay for the Coffee and wish the boys well. Standing at the window one of them remarked \u2018Do you think they\u2019ll make the Parish line Sheriff ? ...\u2019. With a slightly nervous smile the Sheriff replied \u2018 Oh ... I think they\u2019ll make the Parish line just fine \u2018
Leaving the Coffee shop the boys waved to the Tiger tank parked across the street.
