Originally a subsidiary of Ducia Foundry, Ducia Foundations was formed following the ratification of the Planetary Development Treaty in order to capitalize on newly relinquished development rights in the Empire's frontier territories. Being naturally more inclined to operate in and around lawless space, capsuleer independent contractors were given controlling shares of the company and corporate autonomy in exchange for a substantial profit sharing agreement. The result has been wildly successful, and Aridia has seen a significant rise in settler traffic since the companies inception.
