ECWRS does not operate below 0.5 at the moment but watch this space.
ECWRS operates wreck & cargo/loot removal operations under the laws as laid out by
CONCORD/
DED & as such
DO NOT NINJA SALVAGE or LOOT owned containers, no matter what the prize. As ECWRS is a
NON-COMBATANT service provider, ECWRS pilots are armed for
DEFENCE ONLY. A
CODE of CONDUCT as now been written due to unfounded accusations of scouting by individuals (namely miners), whereby certain PvP engagements (GANKING) by
New Order Logistics agents have been happening in mining belts that have been visited by ECWRS.
This is not so, as ECWRS is a neutral party & is only interested in wreck locations, either sent by LOCAL or ECWRS chat, or via planned system salvage routes. Any PvP engagements (GANKING) whilst ECWRS is in or has just left any location is purely coincidental.
PERMISSIONS FOR WRECK REMOVALS: It is now not necessary for ECWRS operators to ask for permission to salvage wrecks in local due to very low response levels, verbal abuse or pilots AFK for long periods. That said, ECWRS operators may seek permission via Convo, but note, that any auto declined convos will be taken as non responsive & ECWRS will remove wrecks automatically.
SYSTEM SHOUT: ECWRS will inform local when they enter & exit a system.
SERVICE USER CODE of CONDUCT: I - Please acknowledge ECWRS when in system & abandon (
BLUE) all unwanted wrecks for disposal.
II - Please inform ECWRS if cargo/loot needs to be left after you abandon (
BLUE) your wrecks or you must collect it before ECWRS starts cleanup operations.
III - Mission runners & fact/corp warfare pilots, please ensure that sites are clear of enemies & all wrecks have been abandoned & that you've looted what you need before fleeting ECWRS to your location.
ECWRS CODE of CONDUCT: I - ECWRS pilots will convo any wreck owners to abandon (
BLUE) all unwanted (
YELLOW) wrecks in their vacinity.
II - ECWRS pilots will automatically remove non-abandoned (
YELLOW) wrecks only if convo is auto declined or no response in 2 mins of receiving a convo message.
III - ECWRS pilots will automatically remove wrecks of either (
BLUE) or (
YELLOW) if wreck owner is not in vacinity.
IV - All wreck owners who abandon (
BLUE) wrecks will be added to ECWRS database with good status. Those who use ECWRS on a regular basis will have a setting of excellent.
V - ECWRS will respect other salvagers on the FIRST COME, FIRST SALVAGE basis & move onto the next location, as common courtesy costs nothing.
ABANDONING WRECKS: ECWRS recommends the following for the ease of salvaging,
I - Abandon all wrecks in your vicinity. (Right click on a wreck, then left click on abandon all wrecks in the dropdown menu).
II - ECWRS will release a SRU near you, (this unit will always deploy empty).
III - When the SRU has finished it is then recovered by ECWRS & a container is released with all collected cargo/loot.
IV - Check the contents & request a list of any wanted items to be released. The required items will be selected & dragged from the container & abandoned for you to pickup.
V - ECWRS will salvage the wrecks & retrieve any unwanted items from the container (as payment).
THE TRANQUILITY SERVER SYSTEM LOAD:The downtime on the server is to empty it of unwanted wrecks, loot & other debris, as this creates game freezes, lagging issues & in some cases a socket loss or disconnection. During a recent Q&A with CCP, it was estimated that at downtime there were trillions of ISK worth of unclaimed wrecks & loot. So please be kind to the enviroment & abandon all wrecks.
