Soliara was a pre-warp civilization exploited by pirates. After decades of subjugation, the Soliarans overthrew their technologically advanced overlords and made it to the stars. They learned that Soliara lay within a region of space annexed by the Amarr Empire called 'Aridia'.
Although the Soliarans are pleased to be part of the Empire and share their beliefs, albeit in a more traditional light, the Empire's hold on this region of space is nominal at best. Many Soliarans enlist in the Imperial Navy, but many more find service in the Knights of Soliara under Prince Seraghis in an effort to bring order to the LOWSEC regions of the Empire and return the Empire to the 'Old Ways'...
