u'LOCAL MAFIA is an organization which promotes intelligence and humor, free-thinking and self-sufficiency. It is a close-knit group of likeminded individuals, where pilots can get to know and trust each other. Local Mafia is and intends to remain a small corporation, thus preventing capsuleers from feeling like they\u2019re nothing more than a keg within a bloated and inefficient mechanism they don\u2019t even believe in.

We have regular corp ops to run missions, profession sites and C1/C2/C3 wormhole anomalies for ISK. As for PVP Local Mafia engages other corporations in hisec wars but also does lowsec roams and gate-camps. The corporation provides tech 1 frigates and cruisers free of charge, so people do not have to worry about losing assets and ISK and instead just have fun shooting people in the face.

We are also holding regular corporation tournaments with prizes, in various formats, including but not limited to 1v1 tech 1 meta 0 fitted frigates.

We are NBSI and base out of Domain. We are EU timezone and are mostly active between 14.00 and 22.00 EVE time.

Recruits looking to join Local Mafia need to:
- have an active EVE Online account (no trials)
- be 21+ years of age
- have a sense of humor
- be intelligent
- be proficient in written and spoken English
- be able and willing to use voice chat during ops
- be able and willing to adhere to fleet discipline
- be willing to supply a limited API key for verification prior to joining Local Mafia

Local Mafia currently has a 0% tax and no skillpoint requirements - newbies are most welcome. We\'d much rather have smart 900.000 skillpoint pilots, willing to learn and grow as opposed to bitter and jaded 30 million skillpoint know-it-alls.
