New to Eve Online?

Don't get ripped off from the start - press Corporation tab (star with two olive branches) on the left panel. Check your current corporaiton - probably your faction starting NPC corp. What is wrong with this? Scroll down to corporate tax - you pay 10% corp tax to starting NPC corporation from payments from every successful mission or bounty if amount exceeds 100K ISK, which is actually money sink for noobs - NPC corp does nothing to support you in any way (you can confirm this in Rookie chat). Join Tax Evasion Corp for Noobs and pay nothing - 0% tax set.

This corporation exists solely to help starters to save 10% of their income from missions - no fleet activities, outposts or anything. Feel free to leave as soon as you have got a hang of things in EVE and chosen you future career - be it combat, mining and production or exploration and science.

If you dont like idea joining unknown corp - create your own with 0% tax rate and stop loosing ISK to stupid NPC money sink corps.

Occasional advice on Wormholes farming go as additional bonus - high-risk and high-reward way to make a lot of ISK for beginners with minimal set of skills (10-50M per successful Wormhole run or insta death in case of sloppy jumping into NPC infested sites or if jumped-on by skilled gankers). Warning - you must complete all intro tutorials, have about 10M ISK and be ready to loose 2M ship in Wormhole space looking for your fortune. Also avoid Wormholing on week-ends and prime-time on week-days - too many "good" people preying on weak noobs in Wormholes just to kill them and have fun.
