Current Known Information about the Chrysanthemum Project...

The Chrysanthemum Project was established in YC 115 as a collaborative research project under joint jurisdiction between the Caldari State and the Gallente Federation. The organization was roughly formed when discovering the viability of extracting a potent protein molecule from Chrysanthemums, that could be later re-implemented into bacteria culture for mass production. The details of this protein molecule remains unknown, as there are no known consumer products available for purchase. Multiple corporations however have a vested interest and contracts are renewed yearly for import of this protein molecule.

Since then the Chrysanthemum Project has evolved from a simple research project to a full fledged corporation with multiple branches of operations ranging from the preeminent to the clandestine.
