We've always been built the way our founder
Dsync intended: capable people willing to do whatever the moment demanded, recruited fresh and shaped broad rather than narrow.
Resync leads us today. That same self-sufficiency is exactly what wormhole space rewards, and for a while, it's where we went looking for more.
J150044 became home for a few years, a system with no stargates for anyone to just roll in through and enough resources that nobody had to fight the whole cluster for them. We anchored an Astrahus to live in and an Athanor to keep the moon harvesting paying for itself, and for a stretch, it worked.
It didn't last. A hostile force found the hole, and the eviction that followed cost us both structures, the Astrahus and the Athanor, reduced to wrecks within days of each other. Wormhole space doesn't forgive a losing fight the way high-sec does, and we didn't have the numbers to hold what we'd built.
What's left runs quieter these days. We're primarily a high-sec operation now, mining and salvage boats doing the steady work Dsync once flew escort for, hulls and fittings that lean industrial rather than into a doctrine hangar, though the artillery and the ammunition stockpiled from the wormhole years haven't gone anywhere. Nobody's forgotten how to fight. We've just chosen, for now, not to have to.
