A Millenia ago, a scout ship from earth passed through the eve gate and wandered through the endless expanse of space until it reached a system shrouded in darkness and devoid of life. Fragments of ships and stations littered the systems, Only a small fleet of what appeared to be abandoned ships remained, when suddenly the scout ship was hailed, only silence and static came across the line. The captain paused, nervously considering his words carefully..

...And he asked it, "What is thy name?" And the ship thought abandoned; answered, saying, "My name is Legion: for we are many."

The scout ship was never heard from again.
