Wilon Technologies - "Time to Create the Future"

Founded by Dr. Ichiro "Widgett" Kanagawa in 23009 AD, the corporation was previously known as the [KRI] or formally, the Kanagawa Research Institution. The corporation's purpose involved the unprecedented cluster-wide exploration effort to uncover the mysteries of the natural phenomena of New Eden space.

Two years after its founding, Kanagawa went missing after an expedition into wormhole space - many presuming he was dead. Following the disappearance of the esteemed director, the institution was left in disarray, and lacked the needed direction to continue its research. After some time however, Kanagawa's nephew, Widgett Wilon, was made executive director of the crippled organisation. This appointment came rather late, with the majority of its members resigning from their positions in the corporation.

No longer holding the financial prowess to continue the Kanagawa Research Institution, the company became defunct early 23012. Following the corporation's unfortunate end, Widgett Wilon founded Wilon Technologies, with the intention of continuing Kanagawa's legacy and ambitions.

Today, Wilon Technologies bases its research in the outskirts of New Eden space, carrying out research in the most distant parts of the cluster, whilst funding its exploits through their technological finds. While some speculate Wilon Technologies to be more of a profiteering venture than a branch off from its sister corporation, others believe its real purpose is to find out what truly happened to Dr. Kanagawa.
