Imperialism, the process of exporting capital for productive investment in countries whose labor is militarily dominated and can thus produce superprofits (profits over and above those pertaining in the capital-exporting country) for the foreign investor, is able to sustain itself only by its exploitation and monopoly of the labour, natural resources and markets of the Third World.
