Occupational Health and safety:

Here at Deadwater Syndicate we take a responsible approach to our employee’s safety. We endeavor at all times to create a safe working place, taking a leading initiative in the industry with progressive education programs. All employees undertake a rigorous four hour training course. Such topics include coffee peculating and correct labeling of hot objects, Polyurethane coating of all sharp objects such as scissors, or the tips of sharpened HB-9000 pencils.

Unfortunately accidents happen and human error can lead to minor injuries such as loss of life, being de-limbed, and fourth degree burns (plutonium related tissue dissolving). All these minor incidents are considered important, however most importantly and the greatest threat being, capital loss from ship destruction, easily the largest risk to the corporation. In such circumstances, all surviving pilots will be compensated in order to get our pilots back in their previous or an upgraded vessel as quickly as economically possible. Here at Deadwater, we believe this is the fairest and best way to ease the grieving suffered by our executive board, receding ISK resulting from the lost steady stream of our pilots profits can cause considerable hardship on the families and mistresses alike of our management team.
