Founded in the later days of Amarrian expansion, the Confederation of Interstellar Colonies was one of the few democracys tollerated in the empire, made up of a few systems in the far reaches of EVE.
However, after loosing their power fighting in the Minmatar rebellion, they were fractured and the confederation almost cease to be. But some still remember the glory days of the CIC and are willing to gain back what belongs to them- by any means possible.
