U.N.S.C. Engineering Corps [UN.EC], is a branch of the U.N.S.C. devoted to surveying viable planets for colonization, construction and matinence of U.N.S.C. field equipment and platforms, and the salvaging/repair of U.N.S.C. ships and wrecks.
