The Barkodians are a people apart, an ethnicity which has previously had no contact with the peoples of New Eden. Drifting into New Eden from the Unknown Regions on Derelict Vessels of foreign origin, they quickly established contact with the Amarr Empire and within several years were granted several continents on Mani VI to settle as their own. In return they began to serve in the Amarr Navy and combat the enemies of the Empire. Recently a Chancellor has been elected from among their numbers and declared the survivors and their offspring to be Barkodians; A people from the Unknown Regions. The Barkodian Conglomerate is the largest cohesive body of the people and represents their interests, power structure, leadership, and military might, in alliance with the Amarr Empire.
