We joined a large science group called Canonn, which seemed to be the leading research team in this area. After becoming a members of the Canonn research team, I quickly found that every one of our theories had been disproved. Following this discovery came the scolding of higher ups for even bringing those thoughts up. We found myself back at square one yet again.

We was stopped by multiple Commanders, fellow scientists of Canonn, who seemed to be genuinely interested in my area of work. Luckily, one of these commanders, named Nodus Cursorius, had a good web of contacts and after calling in a few favors, he was able to preserve our scanning station and set up a group comms for us to examine these strings in private, away from Canonn. We called our group Ulyaoth, hidden in the shadows, we began work on our private, illicit technology.
