The Arkanis Initiative
Better known as The Ark, it was founded by industrialist Zaxius Tor. He started with humble beginnings as a mining tech for the Ark Mining Corps. He worked his way through the ranks and eventually became the Ark Commander. Through hard work and dedication to his profession he built the Ark Initiative Coporation so the citizens of the Ark could have a stable base of operations as they explore this vast universe. True to his blue collar beginnings he can still often be seen sitting in the cockpit of a Venture blasting precious ores from asteroids.

What IS the ARK?
The Ark is a self sustainable nomadic archology. Its mission is to explore this vast universe unlocking its hidden mysteries, ancient secrets, and undiscovered profits. The Ark focuses on space exploration, planetary development, research, mining and manufacturing. The Arkanis was launched 2 centuries ago just before our homeworld was destroyed in an inter-stellar implosion. We have travelled the stars ever since as a nomadic society of peaceful explorers and industrialists. As we grow, we, as a corporation will expand our reach into other sectors, exploring uncharted space, colonizing new planets, and setting up base operations in multiple sectors.
