To make a pocket melt, you must start with your traditional pocket sandwich. It is also imperative that the jeans you are wearing have a very clean back pocket. This is a very delicate process and any impurities could corrupt the melting process. The key to a good pocket melt is in the pressing. You must be sure not to press to hard, or too soft, and ensure an even weight distribution over the entire sandwich for the entirety of the melting process.

2. Sit on something warm
3. Wait until Cheez Whiz evenly melted
