AKRITAI - They were the valiant guardians of the Byzantine Empire's borders in the mother
planet Earth,many millenia ago, and under the leadership of Digenis Akritas they performed military achievements of such greatness, that they branded with fiery fists legends, in the pages of history.

It was said that their heroism could only be matched with that of Achilles himself,their
might sent such waves of terror among the ranks of their enemies that, myth told, the spirit
of Hercules was burning fiercely inside their souls. As for their their glory it shined so brightly,scorching the eyes of their vile combatants, that some dared to compare it with that of Alexander's the Great. But, this is ancient history of
a lost world and an era long gone...

Nowadays Akritai is a society of people living their lives at the edges of known universe,
far from unethical laws, where profit is abudant and danger is ever-present.
