Akuma Industries is a multi-regional technology and services conglomerate providing everything from advanced ship technology to luxury goods. Family run for generations, Akuma Industries has grown from a small manufacturing firm on Hulang [Lirsautton III] to a corporation that spans from Syndicate to The Forge.


The Akuma Family
The Akuma Family is not strictly a bloodline, but also includes individuals who have been granted ascension based on their deeds in service of the family. Once granted ascension, individuals take on the Akuma Family name and are free to fill high-level positions within Akuma Industries.


Leadership
Akuma Industries is run by Xen Akuma, the most senior member of the Akuma Family. Xen is currently in the process of handing control of the corporation to his eldest son Drix Akuma. The handoff process for Akuma Industries involves years of mentorship and ever increasing involvement in high-level business activities such as alliance negotiations and hostile takeovers.


Industry
Akuma Industries operations cover a wide range of activities including robotic mining, ship building, weapons research, drug manufacturing, luxury goods trading, and entertainment services. With the recent move of its headquarters to Syndicate and its induction into the Intaki-Business Logistics Union, Akuma Industries has further expanded operations specifically targeted to the development of the Syndicate and Placid regions. This represents the first step in a larger strategic plan that will see Akuma Industries rise to become known throughout New Eden.
