The Caldari State Revenue and Customs is the state's tax collection agency responsible for administering and enforcing revenue laws through the assesment and collection of taxes.

As part of the enforcement mission of the Caldari State Revenue and Customs, the agency audits a select portion of income tax returns every year. Red flags for an audit include failing to declare the right amount of income, claiming a higher-than-normal amount of insurance, running a distribution business as self-employed, mining without or with an invalid permit, etc.

It is also a civilian duty to report taxpayers to the Caldari State Revenue and Customs if they suspect that their fellow citizen might be engaged in criminal activity.
