More than a century ago, during the Minmatar Rebellion, the Valklear program was created. Valklears were once the waste of society - murderers, thieves, psychopaths, rapists. These men were given a choice: imprisonment and death, or military service. Reforged from hardened criminals into bloodthirsty soldiers, the Valklears were largely responsible for the success of the Rebellion, and the liberation of millions of slaves. Today, the Valklear program remains as the best kept secret of the Republic.

In YC 115, a new company was formed. Unaffiliated with the Republic, the Dread Valklears have again answered the call of duty. Reborn in blood, the Valklears rise against both the ineptitude of the Republic and the evils of the Empire.
