u'EVE-Mag.com is an independent online publication for the EVE Online community featuring new talent from that community on a variety of topics regarding EVE. Articles are designed for the new player all the way up to thought experiments for older and seasoned players. Not just stopping at articles for the masses though, EVE-Mag.com features reviews of other EVE websites around the web, coverage of CCP events both in and out of game, and original fiction.

Smakalicious, the editor of EVE-Mag.com, saw a need in the community for another source of EVE coverage, one that would mix and match a variety of elements and showcase new talent from the eve community. The community responded in kind and today features several authors and writers and is linked to several of these sites, as well as blogs and other gaming sites. Some sites actively participate in EVE-Mag.com\u2019s success, by writing reviews of our articles and providing in-game screen shots for graphic elements in the site.

EVE-Mag.com however still has a lot of room and opportunity to grow. New writers are welcomed and encouraged and the site is becoming a great depository of knowledge and thought behind one of the best MMO\u2019s in the genre. The backgrounds on the writers are as varied as the topics covered; with the common denominator that each has a passion for EVE.

While many EVE sites follow a niche within the game, or a few well chosen frames of content; EVE-Mag.com actually goes in a more generalized and open path of content. Upgrades to the web site have been done for ease of navigation and future upgrades will undoubtedly occur as needed as well \u2013 all thanks to feedback from the community. This is an area that shines with EVE-Mag.com as since it is designed for the community at large, it responds to community feedback and includes options for the community to respond to particular articles and even the writers themselves as well as the web site as a whole.
