WHO WE ARE

Hufflepuff is the house that keeps everyone else flying. We mine, we reprocess, we build, and we haul. We fly Minmatar: rust-coloured hulls held together with salvage and stubbornness, which is exactly the right aesthetic for a house whose entire philosophy is making something good out of what other people left behind.

Every ship Gryffindor loses, somebody built. Every probe Ravenclaw burns, somebody built. Every module Slytherin sells at a markup, somebody built. That somebody is us, and we are not quietly resentful about it. We like it.

WHAT WE DO

- Mining, from a Venture in your first hour to a Procurer and beyond
- Reprocessing ore into minerals instead of selling it raw, because the margin is in the refining
- Industry: building ships, modules and ammunition from what we dug up
- Hauling, which is dull, safe, steady and pays better than it should
- Trading fairly with the other three houses, because they are family

WHAT YOU GET

- A house to belong to, with corpmates at exactly your own stage
- Honest numbers. What each ore is worth, what it refines into, and which rocks are not worth the hold space
- Somebody to mine alongside, which turns the dullest job in EVE into the most sociable one
- A job you can do while half-watching something else, which matters more than new pilots expect

WHAT WE ARE NOT

We are not a rich corporation. There is no free Venture, no ship replacement, and nobody handing out ISK or minerals. Be a little suspicious of any corporation that offers a brand new pilot free ships and money, because that is how recruitment scams open.

What we have is company and honest numbers.

WHAT WE ASK

Patience, hard work and fair dealing. In EVE those stop being virtues and become a strategy. The patient pilot checks the system before undocking the expensive barge. The hard worker has a stocked hangar when everyone else is broke. And the fair dealer gets asked back, which in a game full of thieves is the rarest advantage there is.

No skill point minimum. No interview. Alpha clones welcome, and a mining Alpha is genuinely useful from day one.

THE FOUR HOUSES

Hufflepuff is one of four houses under Hogwarts of EVE. Gryffindor fights, Ravenclaw explores, Slytherin trades. If digging rocks turns out not to suit you, you do not leave the alliance. You sort into another house and keep your friends.

THE HONEST PART

Mining is not exciting. We are not going to pretend otherwise. What it is, is the most reliable income a brand new pilot can have, with the lowest chance of losing everything, and it is the foundation that everything else in this alliance is built on.
