The Hydra is a multi-headed monster of Greek mythology. When it loses a head, two new ones grow in its place, which is why it is also a symbol for situations in which any attempt at containment or suppression leads only to the expansion of an escalation. In addition, the Hydra stands for a social system in which no individual is subject to a leader. Each head has an influence on the body, that is, on the whole, with every decision.
