The Kaini Corporation started out as one of the first big enterprises rising from the ashes of Jel after Sinq Laison was ravaged in the brutal Gallente-Caldari war. By specializing early in interstellar transport of highly exotic goods and materials, the company established itself as an invaluable contributor to the development of markets, knowledge and technology in the region in the time after the war.

With the dawn of the Empyrean Age, the original Kaini logistics company came to play an essential role in the supply of new capsules to the region, thanks to it's customized transport ships. A very lucrative business, of course, which eventually enabled members of the Kaini family and it's employees to take to the stars as capsuleers themselves.

Shortly thereafter, the Kaini Corporation was reformed as an official CONCORD-recognized capsuleer corporation, finally releasing the company and it's owners from essentially all mortal regulations and responsibilities. Today, the business has successfully diversified into many areas, such as deep space exploration, security contracting, and astrophysics research.
