When we first registered the Makers, our business plan was straightforward: build things. Hulls, modules, rigs\u2014honest industrial products for an ever-demanding market. We imagined a future of busy factories, thriving trade routes, and maybe even a little praise for our craftsmanship. After all, New Eden always needs more stuff.

But then came reality. Our shipments became target practice, our freighters turned into fireworks, and our \u201cfinished products\u201d were usually found floating in space as wrecks. Somewhere between salvagers picking over our cargo and enemies congratulating themselves for \u201cquality control,\u201d we realized the truth: what we actually make is wrecks. Lots and lots of wrecks.

Of course, wrecks rarely come alone. They tend to be accompanied by the occasional frozen pilot, drifting gently toward the next clone bay. And since we kept producing them with remarkable consistency, we decided it was time to rebrand. If the galaxy insists on blowing up our work, we may as well embrace the inevitable and make corpses part of our official portfolio.

Today, the Makers remain committed to production, just not always the kind we originally intended. We manufacture outcomes. We ship destruction. We export silence. Our competitors call it misfortune; we call it diversification. And so our promise stands: whatever you fly, whatever you build if it crosses our path, chances are we\u2019ll make something new out of it. Wrecks and corpses. It\u2019s not the business we planned, but it\u2019s the business we perfected.'
