SPHERE Laboratories has long been the shadow research and development arm of Pandemic Legion's war machine. Shrouded in secrecy and misinformation, the technology and tactics developed by SPHERE researchers and employed by Pandemic Legion agents have oft been criticized as unethical and illegal; however, the results remain unparalleled in effectiveness and lethality.

The only technologies that have been CONFIRMED to have originated within SPHERE Laboratories are variants of the Covert Ops Cloaking Device (rumored to have been powerful enough to block ALL detection methods) and most recently a modified variant of the recently developed Entosis Link.
