Signal Cadre (SIDRE) began as a secret Gallente-Caldari War organisation. It was officially formed in 23155 AD under then-acting Minister of Economic Warfare Mens Reppola, from the amalgamation of three existing secret organisations. Its purpose was to conduct espionage, sabotage and reconnaissance in occupied Caldari space against the Gallente Federation, and to aid local resistance movements.

SIDRE operated in all territories occupied or attacked by Gallente forces, except where demarcation lines were agreed with Caldari allies. It also made use of neutral territory on occasion or made plans and preparations in case neutral systems were attacked by the Gallente.

The organisation was officially released from the Caldari State after the conclusion of open hostilities in 23248 AD. It remains active in a private and contracted capacity, but little else has been confirmed about current activity.
