Welcome to the Foundation for Reason and Science.

The Foundation seeks the establishment of a community of players who enjoy cooperative non-aggressive gameplay that is geared primarily towards industry, colonisation and exploration. We also seek to form a group of people with interests that align with our Guiding Principle and Core Values and ask that all applicants and members of the Foundation subscribe to these.


Guiding Principle

We hold that all significant beliefs and actions should be based on reason and evidence, that the natural world is the only world their is, and that answers to the questions of existence are to be found only through scientific inquiry.


Core Values

Our Core Values are based on the philosophies of skepticism, rationalism and empiricism.

We believe in:

- the application of reason and critical thinking in order to evaluate claims, determine validity and answer questions about our universe and everything in it.

- the supremacy of science and evidence as opposed to superstition and bigotry.

- the process of finding a supported conclusion and not the justification of a preconceived conclusion.


We reject, and by definition, are opposed to:

- the initiation of force or fraud against others.

- philosophies or ideologies that promote or facilitate ignorance, violence or hatred.
