We are the Republic of Metis. What does the word "Metis" even mean to the common individual? Just another word you don't need to know. To the common mind, this does in fact mean nothing. But here you will learn what the word "Metis" means, to a well-suited pilot such as yourself. This word, means not nothing, but it means skill, cunning, deception, craftiness, and other synonyms of the sorts. As stated, to a common individual, this would mean nothing. But you, are no common individual. You are special, your mind understand the meaning of cunning, cleverness, skill. What can this provide, the downfall of another player, following a brand new unknown technique, forming the greatest offense. Or perhaps you will use your metis for something perculiar, uncommon, and rare in the space usually operated by these well-suited individuals. The ultimate defense.
You can become the immovable object, or the unstoppable force. But if you used metis, you may gain an advantage over the enemy, that they are less likely to have. You can achieve the perfect balance between immobility, and unstoppability. One who gains metis, gains invulnerability. Common techniques used by the like of normal pilots can be countered, such as being tough or being fast. Have some metis and create a technique none will know how to counter for awhile, and once they counter that, make a brand new one.
After all, no matter what, we would be victorious, even if we do not win, our metis will prevent us from losing. This is the meaning of the word "Metis", and also why we use the phrase "Safety in Metis". And just for reading this, proves that you are a capsuleer worthy of this "Metis".
