Lore: Placid is the heart of the Intaki homelands. Unlike many other Federation citizens, the Intaki emphasize personal freedom and spiritual pacifism.

Solitudes: Ni-Kunni Minority: The region is home to a significant population of Ni-Kunni, an ethnic group originally from the Amarr Empire who live in impoverished areas of Solitude and frequently serve as recruits for the Federal military.

In recent years the Ni-Kunni have seen an increase in Aridia immigrants.
