IPv6

March 20th, 2014

RadarThis is a short service announcement: DOTLAN EveMaps is now reachable via native IPv6. The server and network was prepared for the IPv6 capabilities for quite some time but I always forgot to enable it and add the DNS records.

If you’re one of the few that enjoy a native or dual-stack IPv6 connection, enjoy it. You probably won’t have noticed it anyway 🙂

hello and thank you for a great site that i use almost daily sorry for posting in this thread but did not see a random comment section … i was looking in to your statistics pages and noticed something was not there ….any chance of implementing region wide stats? for instance this region has this many people living here (found by looking at hq’s rented and then number of members counted)

    • Wollari says:

the problem with region wide stats is that it’s hard to make any use of them. HQ isn’t what it is supposed to be. nullsec alliance have to place their hq in empire space bcause it can’t be on outposts, etc. therefore the number of real usefull stats is … very limited.

And the number of pilots/in space is also not available.

Thx for a great site m8! I visit this site all the time and i love it!

I wanted to post what i believe is a bug that i noticed couple of weeks ago. It seems like the station changes doesn’t seem to update anymore. Looking at the following station https://evemaps.dotlan.net/outpost/T-AKQZ you can clearly see that its Kadeshi holding the station and it has been renamed but if you look under changes it doesn’t show when these changes happened etc. I thought i would report this to you and as you don’t seem to have any other way off contacting you i decided to post here 🙂

Again thx for a great site and keep up the good work!

Thanks for the report. It’s fixed and was only a typo why the changes liting wasn’t updated.

btw. the best way to report is via email. Even If I would have some feedback thread somewhere I wouldn’t have the time to monitor it likely
