DOTLAN EveMaps

Due to some feature requests on the german eve-online forum, i modified the “sovereignty changes” page to differ between real sovereignty changes and those who had recent upgrades (example: from sov 1 to 2). I also made the svg maps clickable. If you click on a system you’ll be redirected to the system details. If you select an out-of-region system you’ll be redirected to its region map.

For our empire friends i included the NPC corporations to the database and the list of all available agents, sorted by level, region and quality for each corporation. To get the list you’ve select a system from the region list, check the station listings and click on the corporation that holds the empire station. You’ll get some corporation information and the agent list.

I’ve added several new pages to bring more informations about our eve regions. These pages includes

• Region listings with number of systems, rat types and faction
• All systems of one region (sortable), including, true security, security class (minerals), sovereignty holder, etc
• Alliance Ranking and details with logo, outpost list, systems holding sovereignty
• System details with planets, belts, moons, minerals, outposts, sovereignty history
• Sovereignty changes with history (beginning 2008-08-25)

I modified the scripts that check call the EVE API to get fresh sovereignty updates to support CCP’s cachedUntil timers. I’ll monitor the updates to verify that i’ll get every day a current and valid state of the map details. The timestamp “last update” will now show the serverside time and not the time where i fetched the update.

CCP just released yesterday the updated database dump, which includes all static data like stations, solarsystems, ships, items, etc. I just migrated the evemaps project to take the new database as backend. I’ve already used an modified database including all new systems so you won’t notice the changes in the background.

1. Search a solarSystem: You can now search for System, the result will take you directly to the specific region map with your system highlighted.
2. If you’re using the SVG Browser Maps for Navigation you can click on an external system (out of your current region). You’ll be redirected to the connected region with the systems you clicked highlighted for easier navigation. So you don’t get lost when switching between maps.
3. I added a possibility to add out-of-region connections to a region map.
4. Inspired by the new ombey maps i added 2 maps designed for the faction warfare where all related and neaer systems are included. You can watch now the daily occupancy changes in your war regions.
5. I fixed an issue that contested systems didn’t got highlighted.
